Virtalähteen (Power Unit) takalevy on leikattu irti, pistoke levyineen katkaisijoineen leikattu pieneksi ja sovitettu Macin virtalähdekoteloon. Yli sadan euron Dremeliä en ostannut, kokeilin onneani (taas) kolmenkympin Cotechillä. Samalla huomasin että virtajohto virtalähteen piirilevylle oli ehkä joskus lämmennyt liikaa ja eriste sulanut pois, ja tämä tulee siis myös korjata.
The plate is disconnected from the rest of the PU, the socket and switch has been fitted into the other PU box. Bought a cheap non-Dremel tool and hopefully it will last this project. The power cord needs a small fix in order to become safe.
Kuvassa alkuperäisen PU:n piirilevy makaa vaan Macin PU:n pohjan päällä, reiät ovat sellaisissa paikoissa että joudun ottamaan vanhan PU:n pohjan ja ruuvaamaan sen kiinni Macin PU:n pohjaan. Kaapelointi pitää vielä järjestää tyylikkäästi, tuli hankittua kartiopora jolla saa isonkin reiän tehtyä.
The PC PU is placed inside the case, and fit. I need to use the bottom of the PC PU and fasten it on top of the Mac PU. And then there's a reddish cord that has to go through a copuple of metal shields.
